This photo instantly caught my attention. Sharp subject in combination with shallow depth of field with autumn colorful surroundings are in perfect harmony. And the fact that it semms that deer is looking straight to the viewer gives even greater impact. It really shows in the photo the thought that has been put in the settings of the camera and composing the shot.

I can't find many flaws with this photo. Only two things can be done to polish otherwise perfect photo: little more sharpening on the deer and maybe add a bit saturation on him because he looks a bit "flat" compared to the foreground and background.

This photo is in the top of the wildlife photography I've seen here on DA. And it takes a lot of waiting or huge amount of pure luck to capture the shot like this with perfect setting and composition.
