hahah i was close, How is that lens?, Im looking at investing in the new 600mm f4. XD. Bloody expensive as all mighty hell.

Mine Is The Real Old f4.5 Non Is Version
I Get On Fine With It Although I Would Love One Of The New f4 Mk II Is Ones But Just Can't Afford It At The Moment.

I was looking at the f4.5 version also :). Much more affordable :). Whats it like hand holding? I always end up hand holding for most of my images. I got to try the new 300mm f2.8 is ii with a 2x recently and its lighter than my 70-200 is ii and 2x!

Its Fine To Pan Flight Shots With And Its Ok To Carry But You Wouldn't Want To Stand Holing It At Eye Level Waiting For Some Little Bird
To Appear On A Brach Or Some Action To Happen. I Use Mine With A Monopod Or Tripod When I Can Be Arsed To Carry It.
I Try One Of The New 500 F4 Is And I Reckon I Could Hand Hold That All Day Its So Light In Comparison To My Old One.
Also Tried That New 300 And Its Amazingly Light.
