As I have come to expect from Andy, this is a stunning shot with amazing detail. The color and depth of field are perfect for the subject. The color of the bird itself. contrasts perfectly.

The main thing is always the detail.
And it shows here.

Very cool. Extremely well done, and composed in a way we have come to expect, and love.

The herron also is shown here to have a certain character of it's own. Something which is missed by so many photographers.
